The Flexbox CSS property

A couple of old-school flexible boxes

The Flexbox CSS property

As everyone knows, Web standards constantly push forward, whilst developers are left waiting on browser adoption to catch up. One such feature is Flexbox.

It's not in common usage just yet but believe me, once IE8/IE9 start to disappear, it'll be in use everywhere.

The Flexbox is like a native CSS version of responsive website design.  Whereas today we're fiddling around with media queries to deliver layouts that automatically respond to different devices, Flexbox delivers responsive functionality out of the .. well .. box!  It will also fix all those clumsy floats, clears & inline-block layout fudges.

So let's work together & get your IE upgraded!  Click Here for an excellent primer on Flexbox.
