Photogrammetry is the process of calculating 3D spatial data from 2D photography. It is most often used to scan/digitize objects, but below we scan an entire office. Pretty effective, huh? It's a short step from here to import this data into a VR app and create photo-realistic immersive environments.
It's also worth noting there's no post-processing here. It's just 140 photos taken in a single batch & no re-touching. Maybe next time we'll fill in the missing textures, try to pass it off as video :)
