Individually, each Hero is just a compact video camera - albeit a hi-res, hi-framerate one. But string together a carefully-configured array with custom lenses and calibrated software templates .. well then we have a recipe for really compelling 360° content.
Of course they're capable of producing great 360-degree stills too. But these babies really shine when it comes to delivering hi-res 360 virtual experiences - whether that's for Gear VR, Oculus Rift or just 2D WebGL distribution.
